As the rest of the world fills up the seed trays and begins the journey of hope that is March for a vegetable gardener, I am headed back to Paris with not even a pair of garden gloves in my luggage. All is on hold until mid-April.
I am thinking about beginning a new blog that is about travel. If I should do so, the link will be right here. And from time to time I will post here about the garden side of my travels.
My amaryllis are just now starting to bloom ... to them and to you I say
A BIENTOT !

You say, "headed back to Paris" like it's an every day thing. ;) *sigh*
Have a wonderful time!
Well, you won't be hurting for blooms in Paris, certainly. When I was there (three years ago in early Feb.) the corner markets had such beautiful things. You certainly will be able to get fresh veg at the markets. I just read Julia Child's My Life in France, and I swear the next time I am in the city of lights I am going to suss out her fave shop for pots and pans...I want to say it was at Les Halles so it may be gone by now, sniff...
Have a great time. The garden can wait. But you may need to bother your neighbors if you want fresh peas!
yes, the pea thing has me hesitating ... Paris or fresh peas ...
Safe travel, Leslie. Spring time in Paris.....ahhhhh. :-)
