Beautiful "sweet taters," as they are frequently called in my neighborhood. And it looks like you could make a meal out of the one just in front of the basket...

Those sweet potatoes are gorgeous! What variety are they?
Christina, they are a combination of Georgia Jet and Beauregard. They are supposed to do well in northern climates.

Actually it is big enough, I was thinking of carving it int the shape of a turkey. :-)
