I am not asking "why?". Your autumn olive colis, awakened me to delight of savory condiments for any mild food. Nice change from cranberry sauce for chicken. Do you think Richard Nixon might have enjoyed garlic jelly as replacement for tang of ketchup he liked on his cottage cheese? mbk

Those sweet potatoes are gorgeous! What variety are they?

Christina, they are a combination of Georgia Jet and Beauregard. They are supposed to do well in northern climates.

Beautiful "sweet taters," as they are frequently called in my neighborhood. And it looks like you could make a meal out of the one just in front of the basket...

Actually it is big enough, I was thinking of carving it int the shape of a turkey. :-)
